Strength, speed, power, flexibility, agility, cardio conditioning, balance, hand eye coordination are all by products of a physical training program. Our goal is to prepare our athletes for the most physically grueling sport ever created. Pillar 2 focuses on lean muscle strength, stamina, VO2 max, balance, core and intensity. That is correct, intensity! A strong mind and body creates more comfort, comfort creates more confidence, confidence creates intensity. That intensity is backed by stellar conditioning which in turn produces better results. Remember, results don’t lie!
Evan Nystrom is a strength and conditioning specialist and trainer out of Washougal, WA. Evan has been a coach for over seven years. He attended Central Washington University as a collegiate athlete where he earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Since graduating school Evan has continued his education and carries current certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer from ACSM, CPR-AED from ARC, SGX from Spartan, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from NSCA.
Coach Evan himself has raced motocross since the age of four which gives him almost 25 years around the sport. With his experience on and off the track Coach Evan has been able to take his formal education and experience in training, health, strength, and conditioning and apply a holistic approach to the sport of motocross which allows him to design programs that provide athletes with proper modalities to perform at their best potential."
